Staff and volunteers of the Textile Research Centre
Permanent and temporary staff
The director of the Stichting Textile Research Centre (TRC) is Dr Gillian Vogelsang-Eastwood. She is a trained textile archaeologist and a specialist in Middle Eastern textiles and dress. Other staff include Shelley Anderson and Maria Linkogle, both of whom are general volunteers, and especially helping with PR (Facebook and TRC Needles)); Marleen Audretsch, depot manager; Else van Laere, who helps with the (financial) administration, PR and the TRC shop; Tineke Moerkerk, general volunteer and helping with PR and the collection of Dutch regional dress; Roos Munk, general volunteer, Olga Leromina, general assistance, lace, and photography, Coen van der Geest, IT, Marieke Roozeboom, library and IT; Renske Schaafsma, cataloguing of images; and Riet van de Velde, who is engaged in cataloguing and maintaining the Dutch collection.
Furthermore, the TRC is providing internships and voluntary positions at various levels to students from Leiden University (per 1 February 2016):

In addition, the work of the TRC is supported by a number of people who give specialist advice, or who undertake specific tasks, as for instance Els de Baan on Western fashions; Dr Anna Beerens, Japanese and Western fashion; Mr Joost Kolkman, who maintains the TRC website; René Lugtigheid on conservation techniques, and Paul Spijker, who advises on African textiles.
