Wednesday morning workshop, 31st October: Hand spinning

This Wednesday morning workshop will be given by Anton Reurink, specialist in the reconstruction of medieval and later textile production techniques. In this workshop he will be giving instructions and practical help in the spinning of flax and wool. This event is suitable for people with little knowledge of spinning, as well as for experienced practitioners. The workshop has theoretical and practical elements. This workshop complements another workshop on hand spinning planned for 28th March, but the second meeting will discuss other aspects of the ancient craft of spinning. 

Date: 31st October 2018. Time: 10.00 - 13.00. Venue: TRC, Hogewoerd 164, 2311 HW, Leiden. Costs: 25 euros including materials, tea/coffee. Participants: maximum of 15 people.
