Chest panel (baaf, bauw) from the Dutch island of Marken, mid-20th century (TRC 2016.0900).Chest panel (baaf, bauw) from the Dutch island of Marken, mid-20th century (TRC 2016.0900).For too long the TRC had to keep its doors closed for visitors to its marvellous American Quilts exhibition. Carefully following official guidelines, we will open our doors from Tuesday, 2 June, although for the time being by appointment only. Separately we include a visitors protocol.

We have also set up an intensive programme of courses, lectures and workshops for limited groups of people, starting from early June. These activities include workshops for small groups of people.

For the time being, we will welcome a maximum number of five people at any one time. This also applies to the organised activities. The number may be raised if and when possible and permitted.

For the various activities, we will not ask for any participation fees to be paid beforehand, but offer the opportunity to pay directly on the day itself. However, people should register in advance, with your name and email address, so we can contact you when necessary. Our email address is This email address is being protected from spambots. In the weeks to come, we will be constantly providing extra information, but perhaps you can already jot down various dates in your agenda. Don't forget to register in time; we can only allow limited numbers of participants, for obvious reasons.
