The neck opening and the front panel are decorated with embroidery, especially with lines of diamonds worked in darning stitch. The back of the dress has some embroidery, but the main feature of the dress are the numerous gores set into the skirt. This type of dress is related to the jumlo type of dress from further north along the Indus (Kohistan/Swat).
